志摩の真珠養殖場。志摩の海女は、海の底に潜り真珠核となる小さな玉が挿入された３歳のアコヤガイを取ってくる。７０年以上にわたり、御木本氏は志摩で真珠を養殖してきた。海女のひとりが水から上がった後に真珠貝を点検する。
原文
The pearl farm in Shima, Japan Pearl divers at Shima,Japan, plunge to the bottom of the sea to bring up the three year-old oysters in which tiny beads of mother of pearl were inserted of Japan. For over seventy years, Mr. Mikimoto has been culturing pearls on his farm in Shima. One of the divers looks over the pearl oysters after emerging from the water.
