水戸基督友会会堂ホールで行われたクリスマスパーティー。小友幼稚園の園児たち。左方の前から４列目の眼鏡の女性がイデア・シャープレス。彼女は１９１０年に普連土女学校教師として来日後、水戸市天王町に居を定め、水戸の伝道に当たることになった。

小友園 - The 'Little Friends' Kindergarten & PTA Xmas 1952. Standing by Xmas-tree: Shimizu San, head teacher. The two highest figures (right at the back) l to r [left to right]: Oyama San (assistant teacher) Ito San (Edith's secretary & general N. Centre help). x - Mrs Shabana, doctor's wife, & a good member of Centre Committee - made the opening speech at the Centre party. o (under the chin) Mrs Ino, wife of Ino San (member of the meeting), also good on the Committee.
