ララの４度目の救援物資と一緒に、メグス（Meigs）大将が昭和２２年３月２８日に横浜に到着。ララ委員会と厚生省が貴重な贈り物の保管と配給に適切に対処した。写真は、倉庫への保管前の荷揚時の様子。
