東京の学校の焼け跡にアメリカの子どもたちから送られた種を蒔く。少年少女らは、写真を撮ってアメリカの友だちに送ると聞き、一番いい服を着てきた。育てた野菜は、学校の温かい給食で使われる。

Japan. Planting the seeds sent by American children in the burned ruins of a Tokyo school. The boys and girls put on their very best clothes when they knew the picture was to be made and sent to their friends in America. These vegetables will be used in the school hot lunch program. 1947-48
