ララの救援食料配給センターで子どもがミルクをもらうのを見て嬉しそうに微笑む父親。ＬＡＲＡ（アジア救援公認団体）に派遣されたアメリカ・フレンズ奉仕団代表のEsther Rhoads（エスター・ローズ）の報告書によると、合計585,000ポンドの食料、30,500ポンドのスープ、730梱の衣服が洪水に遭った日本の地域のララ・センターに配布された。

American Friends Service Committee Japan-1947 A father smiles happily as his infant receives milk at a distribution center for LARA flood relief supplies. A report from Esther Rhoads, American Friends Service Committee representative to LARA, Licensed Agencies for Relief in Asia, shows that a total of 585,000 pounds of food, 30,500 pounds of soap, and 730 bales of clothing have been distributed at LARA centers in the flooded areas of Japan.
