３月４日、東京中野の戦没者妻の母子寮に衣服と布類が配給された。家族の人数にしたがい大量の衣服を分配する。写真は左から順に、寮母、ジョージ・アーネスト・バット博士（George Ernest Bott）、保健婦、施設長。配給の準備が整った包みと、２～３つの包みの中身を開けて見せているところ。

♯1 On March 4 clothing and yardgoods were distributed to a home for war widows and children at Nakano in Tokyo. The bales of clothing were divided according to the size of the family. Picture No. 1 shows left to right the matron of the home, G.E. Bott, one of the home nurses, and the director, with bundles ready for distribution and a couple of bundles open to show contents.
