アメリカのガールスカウトから届いた物資配るミス・ローズと手伝う日本のガールスカウト（左）。これらは戦争被災者（そのほとんどは子どものいる戦没者妻）へ配られた。

Tokyo, Japan 1948 The youngsters eagerly outstretch their hands to receive a Girl Scout kit, the generous gift of American Girl Scouts to the unfortunate children abroad. Girl Scouts assisting in the distribution are shown at the left. Distribution was made at a home for war sufferers, mostly widows with their children.
