食事の配給。厨房で調理した米飯、魚のアラ、梅干しは、大きなバケツに入れて甲板に運び、そこで、本国帰還の旅用に配給された椀や皿を持って待つ乗船客に配りわける。

After the rice, fish heads, and pickled plums are prepared, the food is emptied into large buckets and carried out on deck where it is distributed to each man in canteen cups and pans with which each passenger is provided for the journey home.
